Go behind the scenes of the tiling and flooring industries with the ARDEX GROUP
ARDEX GROUP UK is opening its doors to the public as part of a week-long event aimed at attracting young people and career changers to consider a career in construction.
Building Adhesives Ltd in Stoke-on-Trent and ARDEX UK in Haverhill (both part of the ARDEX GROUP) will take part in Open Doors 2025 – which is delivered by Build UK.
Open Doors offers a unique chance for the public to go behind the scenes of live construction sites, offices, factories, and training centres across the UK, and discover how the communities they live in are shaped and constructed by a fantastic industry with a diverse range of career paths to offer.
Open Doors takes place between Monday 17 – Saturday 22 March 2025, with Building Adhesives Ltd opening for visitors on 17th and 20th March and ARDEX UK on 18th and 19th March.
There will be two sessions per day from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm.
College students and members of the public will be able to discover all about the tiling, flooring and general construction sectors.
They will be able to find out about the skills needed for installation and see the types of systems used in modern-day construction with BAL, ARDEX and Dunlop solutions.
Visitors will benefit from insights and a Q&A with experienced installation professionals who will give an understanding of career opportunities with practical insight on what the roles involve, pros/cons of the job and best next steps.
Plus they can hear from R&D, operations and sales and marketing specialists if these are other career steps of interest.
